When someone says, “I can’t have that, I’m on a diet.” They are implying that when they are “off” the diet, then they can/will eat/drink that food or beverage. This is what creates the ups and downs.

What if you treated dieting like money… Hear us out on this one.  A “diet” is like saving some money for a vacation, and then once that money is saved for that vacation, you go back to how you spent money before. But a budget… now that has some longevity to it. If you stick with the budget, it opens up a world of financial freedom that will allow you to take those vacations, shopping sprees or fine dining experiences whenever you want.
